V2.0.1 - Now using stock Asobo library asset rocks to fill in the open gap on Mt Pahia.
V2.0 - Updated to be compatable with WU13. Retains the foliage changes and the Sofitel Bora Bora Marara Resort. Also fixes the gap on the top of the cliff face of Mt Pahia. I will keep V1.01 available to download if some users do not want to update to WU13 but retain the Bora Bora changes from that version.
V1.01 - Added more resorts. Corrected hut model height such that the docks are now at the same elevation as the hut doors. Added night lighting effects. Added additional vegitation polygons and hand placed numerous palm trees.
This scenery package adds over water huts at various resorts in Bora Bora French Polynesia. There are 3 distinct huts, modeled in blender with PBR textures.
This package integrates with ANIIRAN's Bora Bora foliage package, linked below. I recommend downloading both to get the full Bora Bora improvement:

When we click on "Download" and get the "Download Your Files" popup, the versions seem to be backwards - the topmost file "Main File" is labeled 2.0.1, but it does not get rid of the hole in the mountain, so it must be 1.0, while the bottommost file is marked 1.0 but it is called 2.0.1 (in the file name) - and this file DOES fill the hole in the mountain. Also, I notice the version number in the zip files and in the manifest.json files for both downloads say they are version 1. I am completely confused.
If I load both files, it works. But I suspect we need only the "Over the Water Huts" file. Is that right?
As others have pointed out, the gap in the mountain is still there if you only download the topmost file (called "Main File") of the two available download files. I flew right up to it with this file loaded and the hole was still there even at close range. But with the other file (Over Water Huts) loaded, the mountain is fixed.
I don't notice any change in the resorts. Could you let us know where the new huts are, maybe with a map showing the changes?
But overall, despite the confusion, this update is very much appreciated - so happy the mountain is fixed - that's well above and beyond the call of duty, and it's great to see a super-quick update after World Update XIII for what has always been an awesome mod.

The gap is ONLY fixed in the second download 'Bora Bora Resorts, Over Water Huts - French Poynesia V2.0.1' and only 'closes' once you are close to the mountain top (LOD issues I guess). Screenshots from VR headset.

I think the range at which it loads might depend on what setting you have that governs the range certain models spawn in. On my computer, the hole is plugged even when viewing from the airport, as I guess the sim is set to load stuff at a longer distance.

Sitting on the airport ramp, the hole is still there in version 2.0.1.

I think the labels are incorrect in the file download popup. I think the download called "Bora Bora Resorts, Over Water Huts - French Poynesia V2.0.1" - the bottom one - is the one we need - this one seems to fix the mountain.

No changes, hole is there with 2.01

The files are mislabeled. The one that fixes the mountain is called "Bora Bora Resorts, Over Water Huts - French Poynesia V2.0.1"

Which file is the right one?. I would also recommend to update the version number in the Manifest file with every update. Thanks

The files are mislabeled. The one that fixes the mountain is called "Bora Bora Resorts, Over Water Huts - French Poynesia V2.0.1" The other one - called "Main File" is actually the 1.0 version, which is for those who are not using World Update XIII.

Hi,
Thank you for your extraordinary work.
But I am a little confused. Have I to install both archives?
Regards.

I saw you updated it but it's unlcear which is the right version.
One package, the main, is borabora_v1_01 with package of v0.1.0
The other says 2.01 but it's just called borabora also with a package version of 0.1.0
Update: I downloaded the one that 2.01 on the left when you see the file box ( borabora_v1_01 with package of v0.1.0) but the hole is still most definitly there.

Nice mod, thanks.

Still there for me.

Hhhhmmm... I'll check and see what asset I used to close that gap and make sure it's part of the standard MSFS library. I'm 99% sure I used a stock asset.

This is great - thank you so much! Any chance you can fix the huge concrete blocks that currently represent the non-villa buildings at the Conrad Bora Bora? Even just getting rid of them through an exclusion polygon would be a huge improvement!

That thought did cross my mind. Perhaps I'll try to model up some generic looking tropical buildings... or maybe use an existing asset library.

Please by all means get all the hotels over the water done. I agree all the islands in Tahiti could use this treatment. This looks good so far.

Oh man, I was waiting someone to address this since Asobo added the watermask. Wow, thank you so much, I'm so pleased to see that.
