Nice job on the aesthetics.
Impressive how these people are complaining over this, I never saw people complaining about communist symbols as it killed many more people and still does to this day.
Maybe because they killed a whole country back in the days (Ukraine and many others)

That's just beautiful because it is accurate, stop being butthurt, if it was a communist aircraft you wouldn't mention many killed in Ukraine by Stalin sick ideology.

At least one historically correct livery.

Thank you! Best Livery!

Muito vazio por aqui.
I apreciate historic accurate liveries but this was used by Hitler hinself and makes it's very, very offensive. Do another Luftwaffe version or camouflage version, just not this specific version to download.

I would like to address somethings. I myself am Polish and understand the horrors of the second world war. When making this I knew it would be controversial, however the historical importance of such a livery cannot be stressed enough. This is not here to celebrate the nazi party, it is here as a reminder that the nazi party existed. It is supposed to fulfil a similar role to a history book, documentary or museum. I am also planning a version with the German Cross so it will be more sfw, but this is an important livery that must stay.

Thank you for speaking up.
So let me ask you this: Do you think the majority of the people downloading and using the livery will do that "as a reminder that the party existed" ?
Based on the reactions here, this seems extremely unlikely.
Instead of creating a "history book", you are giving people that like to pose with a Hitler symbol the ability to put theirselves in front of the steering wheel of plane that killed 1200 civilians in Poland.
Not sure if that is a win for you.

OK.
So anyone comparing a mass planed genocide, using death factories capable of killing more than 50000 people per day!
To communism, or Japan, or any other war, has absolutely, no knowledge of History!
The Nazis killed people for just being of a specific religion, its more comparable to slavery in the US, KKK, and other racist based hatreds.
This flag was the symbol of hate!
This flag represented death.
So u guys are downloading this to fly around the sim with a big swastika on the back?!
Good for you guys, have fun!
Make sure to land near Aushwitz as well! Just for historical accuracy!!!!

If a Japanese Zero is released at some point will people demand the hinomaru and Kyokujitsu-ki markings on the aircraft be removed? Maybe they can be replaced with happy faces. These planes were used in war. That's just a fact and shouldn't be covered up. We need to remember these things.
I have just a little credibility concerning this because my great uncle spent the war years in a Japanese prison camp enduring the unendurable. I've heard and read about his stories. BTW, he never hated the Japanese after the war. In fact he and his wife adopted an orphaned Japanese girl. (And it's not about "getting over it" It's more about coming to terms about it.)

Well, according to german law, you even commit a crime if you use this livery. Usage of the symbol is forbidden by law. That's why it's very very very bizarre for me why flightsim.to threatened to censor the Samedan airport because it used a pinup calendar on the hangar's drinks machine and and the same time accept a symbol which is illegal in the home country of a significant share of flight sim users. It's like american TV, you can see any kind of violence and gore as long as you dont see a nipple and nobody uses the F word... I must say, my priorities are different.

I was afraid that someone would dare to offer this livery for the Junkers 52.
As Issi (read underneath) my familly suffered a lot from Nazism, my grand parents uncles and aunts were murdered in Auschwitz concentration camp by those who were obeying to the monster who was flown in this arplane, even my own father went there and miraculously could come back.
I was hoping not to see this livery offered on this site or elswhere. I feel sad and offended not to mention that in many countries this symbole is just forbidden to be displaid.....

For anyone saying "its just a livery / stop being butthurt / get over it",
lets add a little bit of perspective for the livery that you consider to use in your simulation.
The Immelmann II was part of a group that took part in the attacking of Poland in 1939, killing around 1200 civilians. As there were provenly no miltary targets taken down, the operation therefore was considered a war crime.

Even if i don't own the plane yet i'll download this one cause i feel like it's gonna be removed since people are not able to understand that it's a livery, and there's no celebration or praise behind that...
Nice job !

It's just a livery... It's not a celebration of what happened.

how about replacing the swastika with this: http://cliparts.co/clipart/101597
Maybe less historically accurate in the optical sense, but more historically accurate in the metaphorical sense 😊

My thoughts about this aircraft are quiet problematic, just because Hitler used this aircraft.
However this livery even emphasized more why I hate this aircraft!
my entire grandparents families were killed by the natzies, and this livery shouldn’t commemorate those killers!
if you have any decency you should remove this!
you wouldn’t put a KKK flag on a plane, or “kill all Jews” sign, even for historical accuracy, now would you?!
but that’s exactly what that flag says!
if this was a learning platform then go ahead, but this is a flight sim!

well, to be frank, this already IS the official "kill all jews" sign.. :(

Please remove this livery.
Historical correctness should be a thing, but re-enacting with the true symbols of mass-murders should NOT.
I do not think that it is a good idea to allow people flying planes with Nazi symbols.
