Here is my rendition of the "Memphis Belle" for the PMDG DC-6A. It's not perfect, but we don't have a B-17 for MSFS.
Drag and drop the folder in the zip file into your community folder, and fly. No need to use the PMDG Ops Center.
If you like my repaints, please consider a small donation to [email protected].

Good morning, can you create a complete and working B17-G Flying Fortress?

Hi Luco, I wish! Unfortunately, I have no experience with making aircraft for MSFS or any other sim for that matter. Hopefully someone will soon!

As long as you are doing an update, the 'Belle was a B-17F, not a G. Nice repaint, though. Just DL'd it.

I was sure that I had fixed that... I'll take a look again in a few days when I have time.

Thanks. It's a nice plane to fly once you get the hang of it.

nice livery. but how come that its only 30mb compared to other dc6 liveries that are ~ 100 mb?
JMAviation author
I'm not sure. They may have compressed it differently.

Great job. I have been looking for ww2 repaints for different aircraft.

Thanks! I plan on doing some more B-17s on the DC-6 at least until we can have a B-17.

A or B, they didn't exist during WWII (1939-1945) !
What do you write after... that Earth is plate... 😲

lol. Did you download the 747-8 repaint for FedEx, or the A320neo repaint for United? Or so many of the other well done repaints that don't exist in reality? That's just hilarious.

Thanks! I hope we get some WWII aircraft, but until then...

the dc6-b didn't exist during WWII ?!?

So what? It's a fictional repaint. To give a poor rating because the plane wasn't around at that time-frame, for a simulator, is a little ridiculous, considering that the DC-6A was designed to be in production at the end of the war, but didn't fly until 1946. Learn history before you go all negative.
