About
This is the third release in a series of whif liveries I'm working on for the DC-6, running through British Midland's history from Derby Airways (1959) through BMA to British Midland (1997). I may go later and do the modern 'bmi' if I fancy it...
This particular livery is a long-lasting iteration of the 'Diamond Service' livery from ~1997, based on the Saab 340. This saw the main colours become darker, and the changing of the white stripe to a thicker, dark blue one. The font was also changed to something more sophisticated.
I wanted to do them in date order earliest to latest, but I've got most accurate info for paint colours from this era, so started here first. Think of it as BMA venturing into long-haul, much earlier than 2001!
Installation
Unzip the *.PTP file to a temporary location, and install through PMDG Operations Centre (Aircraft and Liveries -> Livery utilities -> Install from PTP file)
I can add the usual Community folder method if requested.
Thank you!
Thanks for dropping by and checking out my livery! If you like it, feel free to leave a like and perhaps a comment with any feedback, positive or otherwise. I'm more than happy for it to be used in screenshots and on streams etc, with credit. I hope you get some enjoyment out of it, and the fabulous DC-6 PMDG have created!
