Drop in community folder to activate a simple autopilot for the H4 Hercules. You can control it with control bindings or use the PMS50 GTN750 which has a autopilot control panel in the utilities menu of the paid version.
The autopilot panel pictured is from the paid version of the PMS50 GTN750 add on. You don't need it, autopilot can be controlled with keyboard commands or control bindings.

Absolutely amazing! A huge thanks!!!!!!! This helps a lot. Since the "problem" is quite similar, (long distance flights) could you do an autopilot-mod for the Local Legend IV: Savoia-Marchetti S.55 and the S.55X too?
PS:As an owner of a logitech flightpanel I can confirm the mode worfs great with the hardware.

Thanks for the mod. Not sure if this has been reported before, but it seemed like my autopilot went unstable after a few minutes on my first flight. I have a basic AP control box where I set up heading hold and alt hold with AP enabled. It flew straight and level for a while, but then started to oscillate. I had to disconnect AP and take over or I would have crashed. I have a Little Nav Map screen capture that shows the AP losing track. I don't think I'll be able to attach it to this comment.

Hah, I flew the mission that came with that but haven't messed around with it since. Not sure that is possible, depending on how accurately the atmosphere is modeled.

Autopilot still works, the PMS50 paid version is only needed if you want a control panel. You can control the autopilot with control bindings or keyboard commands.
