DESCRIPTION:

City of Honolulu, Pearl Harbor and surronding area are covered by photogrammetry (LOD 19 ~ 20) scenery imported from google earth. Waikiki, Honolulu downtown/Harbor and Pearl Harbor are covered by LOD20. All other areas are covered by LOD19. This scenery was optimized for better FPS and faster scenery loading using optimiziation.

Has anyone been able to download the base file part 3 Diamond Head sector? I do not see it and it is the one I need to solve the pink area, I already corrected the other areas when downloading the other areas.

Good day. Not to take personal but I think this scenery has become a mess and confusing. Too many updates and some of the required add on mods are no longer available. My suggestion is to re-package this scenery to lets say a version 5 including all updates and make it available for use to everyone to appreciate the good work you do. Thanks...

This is a fantastic scenery! My only complaint/request, is what some others have mentioned in that that we be able to/have the option to deactivate/remove PHNL from this scenery in order to use LimaJuliet's PHNL which is the best one to date. Other than that, this is fantastic work!

I seem to be getting lots of glitching tiles around the port area. Also shaking tiles that really look awful. I wouldn't like to erase it all. Thanks!

I think these sceneries are good. But it's only when I see them while flying. After touching down to airport, I regret that I shouldn't try to get the destroyed airport. You may need to prepare separate sceneries which are not including airports.

Photogrammetry over airfields is a complete "No No" in the sim. I have had to delete a lot of BGL files to try and remove some of the offending areas. Otherwise scenery is welcome including high LOD.

The scenery is really nice, the only problem is the airports, for example, Kalaeloa Airport taxiways are really bumpy and rollercoaster-like. Really hope for a fix soon.

I tried this scenery and while it looks good from up close, I think it's much too heavy and not worth the performance tradeoff. If it's stuttering on my 5800X3D and 3080 Ti, then it's not going work well for many people. I hope you can make a lighter version with LOD 17-19, that's what I found has the best performance and still looks better than Bing bhotogrammetry, as long as you don't fly right up to it. Most of the time we are way above the scenery.

Still giving you 5 stars for the effort.

Hi Steveli, Great job on V5.2! However, A funny thing happend, After running MSFS 2020 a couple of times- some of the overlapping planes had returned. For instance, there are 2 overlapping 747's and 2 overlapping Fed Ex MD-11's(?) in the Cargo area that was initially fixed . There a couple of overlapping aircraft at PHNL terminal and overlaping aircraft at hanger between Hawaiian Air and HIckam hangers. Its funny how most of those were fixed on the update and ran fine for a couple times just to come back later. Very odd!

Is anyone able to remove the static aircraft? I had some luck in the past versions using excludes, but now seems like the statics are now baked into the photogrametry

I need some help please.
When I use Part 3 the Kapi'olani regional park area is sunk below sea level.
I don't know what base version I have, but I think it is 4.1. I see comments about ensuring 3.5 is the base version, but I have not found anything identifying where to download including the read me files.

When part 3 is off, the elevations are fine and except for the pixel flashing everything looks fantastic. The aircraft at MCAS in Kaneohe should be changed. That base doesn't have most of the type of static aircraft shown. Pretty much you'll find KC130, AH1, OV-22, MH-60, C-40, F-35, CH-53 for example.

It's okay. He is one person doing a lot and for free. I'm happy to wait, and enjoy what he has given us to date :-) I think he should take the time to clean it up, and reorg a little, then charge for the package. I'd be happy to pay for all that is in the scenery.

I downloaded 3.5 then 5.1 then 5.2 and yet have issues in the water and bad frames, it tends to freeze and stuck from time to time, though it looks a lot better
So I would say it yet needs amendment

Part 5 in the bundled "Main File" is missing not only the layout.json file but the Scenery folder is completely empty. I had to download the individual zzz-Hawaii_honolulu_Part5 compressed file from the drop down list of downloadables.

Steve, appreciate all of the updates and you continuing to maintain this.

Is there any chance you'd consider moving the static aircraft to a separate folder, so that people who enjoy that can install it, and those who want to use AI traffic and don't want to see squadrons of B-17s and RAF B-25s sharing an apron with C-5s and P-3s can skip the static planes? 😊

The scenery is great, but the static planes really ruin the immersion for some of us. If you could put those into their own folder that could be installed or not that'd be perfect.

In the current 5.1 file it seems that the folder for part 5 is empty. How do I get the FULL version without any missing files?

Downloaded 3.5
Then downloaded 4.5 and overwrote files
Then downloaded 5.1 and overwrote again
Cleared the cache of the sim and Nvidia

Please download V3.5 only and then update to V5.1. V4.5 may have some bug and should be skipped. Try it and let me know how it works. Thanks.

Do I now understand correctly that I can update from 4.5 to 5.1 or do I need 3.5? Greetings Bernd, I don't have that anymore either
