UPDATE: Paint crew finished up their work in the cockpit, and while not perfect, they got most of the big stuff, even managed to fabricate a replacement center yoke cover. Even touched up some of the unreadable controle switch and lever labels.
Customer has signed off on it and departed our facility... Another Happy Customer!
This is purely a ficticious Livery for Flyingiron's P38, and does not include the aircraft, which must be perchased separatly.
This Livery is based on my idea of a freshly ovehauled aircraft being prepared for a new customer. It has no markings and the cockpit has been a work in progress, trying to touch up all the scratches and chipped paint, to which the customer requested to be all black. Concidering the age of the aircraft and number of logged flight hours, many of the scratches are deep in the metal, and almost impossible to completely remove without fabricating new panels, you may see their edges glimering in just the right lighting conditions.
It also has a fresh set of original equipment propeller blades.
Hope you will enjoy the imagination factor.
Great Paint! How do I get the the black interior to show? on my bird it has a white interior...

This cockpit is built into this livery and is automatic to this livery. All, you have to do is install the package into your community folder. It has all of the interior reworked texture files in that package.

Thanks for this livery. Great work on the cockpit. Was thinking of doing that myself for my Red Bull livery but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Hey AIRPAC, I had been searching for P-38 and never saw this beautiful livery until now. It only came up when I searched for P38.
